The Atlanta Braves announced on Friday night that they’ve signed former Mets infielder Luis Guillorme to a major league deal worth $1.1 million.

Guillorme, 29, was non-tendered by the Mets in November after a rough 2023 season that saw him hit only .224/.288/.327 in 120 plate appearances.

The talented defender had his best season in 2022 when he had a 101 OPS+ and posted a 1.5 bWAR. Guillorme can play shortstop, second base, and third base and even has three innings as a pitcher under his belt.

The Mets drafted Guillorme in the 10th round of the 2013 draft and he played in 334 major league games for the organization.
