The Mets have will replace John Maine with right-hander Fernando Nieve on Saturday at Yankee Stadium. Nieve will be opposed by Andy Pettitte. SNY reports that Omar Minaya announced tonight that John Maine has been placed on the disabled list. Maine was diagnosed with fatigue and weakness in his shoulder.
