Parnell Named Mets Pitcher Of The Month

SHARP PITCHER OF THE MONTH Bobby Parnell was named the Mets Sharp Pitcher of the Month for June. Parnell, who will be honored tonight, went 2-0 with a 1.50 ERA (two earned runs/12.0 innings) during the month. He issued three walks and racked up 12 strikeouts in 10 games.
