On Monday, The Mets Newsletter shared a message from Mets owners Steve and Alex Cohen that was delivered to season ticket holders.
They discussed the shortcomings of the season, pledging that they will do everything possible to field the most competitive club possible in 2027. The Cohens expressed their support of the Mets leadership, particularly Francisco Lindor and Juan Soto, as well as the rookies, including potential National League Rookie of the Year Carson Benge.
