It’s official: Juan Soto is heading to the All-Star Game as a New York Met.
Soto has been one of the few bright spots for the Mets this season, and has been honored with a trip to Philadelphia. Soto entered Saturday slashing .297/.406/.565 with 18 homers, 41 RBIs, and 139 total bases. Soto also leads the NL in OBP, OPS, and OPS+.

The trip to the All-Star Game is more than deserved, and also the first time Soto has made the All-Star Game as a Met. Soto was famously snubbed in 2025 and didn’t make the All-Star Game. It was his first time missing the All-Star Game since 2019.
Soto was one of five NL East players to be named as a starter for the All-Star Game.
