Nick Lorusso hit seven home runs last year in 112 games for Double-A Binghamton. He’s hit six in his last 11 games, including one in each of his last three. He hit a solo shot Sunday (see it here) to make it 2-0 in the seventh inning, which proved to be the difference in the Rumble Ponies’ 2-1 win over Richmond.

Lorusso, 25, of Carmel, N.Y., plays first, second and third base and was a ninth-round pick in 2023 out of the University of Maryland.
