While it was a relatively quiet day for most of the top Mets’ hitting prospects, Trey Snyder continued his breakout campaign. He finished his day 3-for-4 for the St. Lucie Mets, driving in three and coming up with a clutch two-out, two-run double. He’s now hitting .446/.484/.696 (1.180 OPS) in July, and a promotion to High-A Brooklyn seems imminent.
