2007: On this day in 2007, the Mets defeated the Rockies with a surprise bunt walk-off. After nine scoreless innings, the Colorado Rockies took a 1-0 lead in the 10th inning against Billy Wagner. However, closer Brian Fuentes quickly got ahead of Damion Easley. Easley fought back and tied the game with a home run. Two innings later, with two outs and runners on second and third, Endy Chavez executed a perfectly placed drag bunt past Ryan Speier, snatching the Mets a walk-off win.
