Prior to Sunday’s game, the New York Mets announced a plethora of roster moves.

First, they officially placed left-handed reliever A.J. Minter on the injured list. Minter left Saturday’s game  with what was described as triceps tightness. His official diagnose is a left lat. strain. Minter has been terrific this season, posting a 1.64 ERA across 13 appearances.

In a corresponding move, the Mets recalled right-handed pitcher José Ureña from Triple-A Syracuse. Ureña, who began his career with the Miami Marlins, has 10 seasons of major-league experience and close to 1,000 innings pitched with a 4.76 career ERA.

So far this season, Ureña has a 2.89 ERA across three starts and 9 1/3 innings for Triple-A Syracuse. He’s struck out eight to go along with four walks. The 33-year-old threw 109 innings for the Texas Rangers last season, posting a 3.80 ERA and 4.40 xERA.

For reference, right-handed reliever Dedniel Núñez has a 4.00 ERA across nine innings for Triple-A Syracuse this season.

The last of the moves the Mets announced Sunday morning was that infielder Ronny Mauricio is set to begin his minor league rehabilitation with Single-A St. Lucie. The now 24-year-old Mauricio missed all of last season recovering from a knee injury.
