The Brooklyn Cyclones’ offense provided more summer fireworks Friday night. Not only did they score 13 runs on 18 hits en route to their blowout win, but Chris Suero gave Maimonides Park and the Cyclones faithful some excitement with a little league home run. Jaylen Palmer‘s two home run night led Binghamton to a victory over Bowie, while Syracuse beat St. Paul in extra innings.

Buttó was excellent in his six innings, allowing two runs and striking out six while still walking four batters. He collected 14 whiffs, ten exclusively on his changeup. Orze was impressive in his two innings on the mound, striking out five Saints, but more importantly, he held off the extra-inning base free baserunner.
