The Mets’ N.L. East foe, Atlanta Braves, defeated the Astros 7-0 at Minute Maid Park to win the World Series. Jorge Soler got the team on the board with a long three-run home run that left the park.
Additionally, former Met Travis d’Arnaud is now a World Series champion. He appeared in the World Series with the Mets in 2015, and six years later, he finally has his ring.
The New York Post reports that Red Sox executive Raquel Ferreira is expected to interview with the Mets for their front office vacancy in the coming days.
