Syracuse’s offense performed well, but Roel Ramirez let a two run lead slip away in the bottom of the ninth.
Lee hit his sixth home run and his fourteenth double. He was also 1-for-2 on stolen base attempts, bringing his season total to a disappointing 5-for-13 (38.5%).
Payton was on base three times and drove in three of Syracuse’s six runs. In 53 plate appearances since the Mets traded for him, he has hit .341/.453/.415 and is 1-for-3 stealing bases.
Tovar was on base five times and stole two bases. He’s 8-for-10 on steal attempts this season.

Vance Worley started and gave up four runs in four innings.
Campos and Kilome then each threw two scoreless innings in relief after Worley was pulled.
Campos has thrown five innings since being promoted from Double-A and has yet to give up a run.
Kilome has only pitched out of the bullpen since he was activated from the injured list on July 27th. Since being activated, he has thrown seven innings, allowed one earned run, walked two, and struck out nine.

Despite being shutout, Binghamton had three different players with multi-hit games and had nine total hits.
Baty’s single was a line drive to center field. He has hit .250/.343/.405 (105 wRC+) in 99 plate appearances since being promoted to Double-A.
Mangum had a bunt single in the first inning and a line drive double to right field to lead off the third inning. He was thrown out at third base trying to stretch the double into a triple. It was his nineteenth double of the season and his eighteenth with Binghamton.
Rincon’s double was on a line drive to left field. It was his sixteenth of the season and his fourth since the Mets traded for him.

After Grey only gave up one run in six innings, Justin Dillon and Tommy Wilson combined to throw three scoreless innings out of the bullpen.

After Brooklyn had taken a 4-0 lead, the game was suspended with the bases loaded in the top of the fourth inning. Mauricio was the batter and the count was 1-and-2.
Alvarez’ hit was an infield single on a groundball to the shortstop.
Palmer’s double was on a line drive to left field. He advanced to third on the play on a Wilmington throwing error but was stranded at third.
