Yoenis Cespedes is back in the New York Mets lineup on Thursday for their game against the Miami Marlins. Cespedes is the designated hitter and batting second.
The Mets slugger had been out of the lineup after make his spring debut in Sunday with a 2 for 3 game that included a home run. He has been dealing with shoulder soreness in his throwing arm.
Jay Bruce is also in the lineup, as he was on Wednesday, but today he is in right field for the first time this spring. The lefty slugger has been regulated to DH duties because of plantar fasciitis.
Still no Juan Lagares or Dominic Smith in the lineup though.
