The Mets fell short yesterday in sweeping the Athletics, but they look to get back on the winning train tonight in San Diego. Yesterday the Mets were able to tie the game at 2-2 late but allowed one more run and just couldn’t find the magic they had the previous night as they let the sweep-deciding game slip away on a Sunday (a common theme this year).
