Seattle has a 43-47 record this year which leaves them in fourth place in the American League Western Division but only four games out of the wild card.
The Mariners first basemen this year have a .692, the third worst in the majors ahead of only the New York Yankees and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
Despite being only four games of a wild card spot have yet to decided whether they will buy or not at the upcoming deadline.
Duda, 31, is hitting .238/.351/.524 this year and will be a free agent after the season.
