First baseman Lucas Duda and catcher Travis d’Arnaud each left Wednesday’s game against the Phillies with injuries.
Duda left the game after hyper-extending his left elbow after a collision with Cesar Hernandez in the fifth inning. He was replaced by Wilmer Flores, who pinch hit for him.
Duda was 0-for-1 on the evening before he hurt himself while reaching out for an errant throw by pitcher Robert Gsellman.
As for d’Arnaud, the catcher was diagnosed with a wrist contusion after hitting his hand on a bat while attempting to throw down to second base.
D’Arnaud was 0-for-2 at the time of his injury and was replaced by Rene Rivera.
It has not been announced yet how long each player will miss.
