MMO Game Thread: Mets at Brewers, 8:10 PM

The New York Mets look to get back on track with a three-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park. Jon Niese (3-7, 4.21) gets the starting assignment for the Mets and he opposes right-hander Mike Fiers (3-7, 4.50) for the Brewers in the 8:10 PM series opener.

The Mets are 0-5 on their current road trip and 10-24 on the road this season, including 3-16 in the team’s last 19 road games. New York’s .294 winning percentage on the road is the second-worst in the majors.

The Mets really need to get off to a strong start vs the Brewers this week. They are in the midst of a 5 game losing streak, including a three game sweep in Atlanta. They come in against a struggling Brewer club and right now they need anything to right the ship.
