I don’t typically like to do these short rants anymore even though that’s all I did when I first started this site, but today is an exception, so let the good times roll.

What the hell is this METS OBSESSION with putting their worst possible hitters in the two hole?

METS NUMBER TWO HITTERS ARE BATTING .193 IN 2011!

At first I thought it was just a Willie Randolph thing, but then it got insanely worse with Jerry Manuel, but today Terry Collins takes the cake by batting Willie Harris second in the rubber game against the Colorado Rockies.

Can somebody please explain how batting Harris second is conducive to winning?

He is batting .211 (15-70) and has a .304 OBP for crying out loud!

And this isn’t the first time either…

Worse yet, last week Collins had Chin-lung Hu batting second… HU????

METS NUMBER TWO HITTERS HAVE A .275 OBP IN 2011!

THAT’S THE WORST OBP IN ENTIRE LINEUP 1-8!

Why are the WORST hitters, getting the MOST at-bats?

This is ridiculous…

My little niece could do a better job writing out today’s lineup card for the Mets.

Oh and what was the big deal of getting Wright a day off today of all days? It couldn’t wait until we played the bottom dwelling Astros this weekend?

The more things change, the more they stay the same…

Or in this particular case, get worse!
