The 2019 season is finally upon us after an active offseason that saw many changes to the front office, coaching staff, and player personnel. I used FanGraphs projections for some of the over/under lines. I received answers from 20 of our writers on a variety of different topics. I consolidated the results and here’s our over/unders for the Mets 2019 season:

As you can see, the 85.5 wins was a no-brainer for us. FanGraphs has the Mets at 85-77 and finishing third in the National League East.

In addition to the over/unders, I asked the writers for bold predictions and here are a few:

Tim Ryder: Steven Matz has sub-3.50 ERA
Josh Finkelstein: Jeff McNeil makes All-Star team
John Sheridan: Juan Lagares will have WAR over 3.0
Roberto Correa: Robinson Cano will get MVP votes
Mojo Hill: Seth Lugo makes All-Star team
Matt Mancuso: David Peterson will make MLB debut
Jack Hendon: Four Mets starters will make at least 30 starts
Mike Mayer: Michael Conforto wins NL MVP
