Before the game last night, Mets manager Terry Collins told reporters that he would like Kelly Shoppach to return to the Mets next season. The Mets announced Zach Lutz will have surgery on the hamate bone in his left wrist. Lutz, 26, will have his surgery performed by Mets Hand Specialist Dr. Andrew Weiland at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan.
