Before Saturday’s doubleheader Yoenis Cespedes told reporters that he can’t yet run at 100 percent. He also said that he will be the one making the calls on whether he plays or not because he knows his body best.
Cespedes said he has a new hour-long pregame routine for his legs, back & hips to improve flexibility. He said he had not done those before.

Yoenis Cespedes will join the New York Mets in Atlanta on Saturday for their doubleheader. He will be activated as the 26th man and will play in one of the two games.
Cespedes has been out with a strained hamstring since April 27 and played in a rehab game on Thursday night for the St. Lucie Mets.

New York Mets star outfielder Yoenis Cespedes returned to the St. Lucie Mets lineup tonight batting third and playing left field.
He went 0 for 4 with a deep fly out to center and also played the entire game in left field as St. Lucie got one-hit.
Cespedes played in his first rehab game since going 0 for 2 with a walk for St. Lucie on May 26. He has been out with a strained hamstring since April 27.
Cespedes was hitting .270/.373/.619 with six home runs, 10 RBI and a .992 OPS before landing on the disabled list.
