Per Anthony DiComo of MLB.com, David Wright will undergo surgery to repair his right rotator cuff tomorrow. DiComo also reports that T.J. Rivera is getting Tommy John surgery on his right elbow, and Josh Edgin is getting arthroscopic surgery on his knee. Lastly, Michael Conforto will be getting surgery on his left shoulder.

The Captain had been having trouble throwing across the diamond, and this is just the latest reason why. He will undergo surgery tomorrow, for which there is no current timetable for a return – if he will return at all. Yet another setback for one of the best Mets position players of all time.

Michael Conforto will undergo surgery to repair a capsule in his left (non-throwing) shoulder. He decided to go outside the organization, as Dodger’s physician Dr. Neal ElAttrache will perform the procedure. Conforto was hitting .279/.384/.555 with a 146 wRC+ and 27 home runs before his season ended.

T.J. Rivera is getting Tommy John surgery on his right elbow so his season is over, however keep in mind that the recovery time for position players is less so than pitchers. He could be able to return to action some time during the 2018 season but that is unclear as well. He hit .290/.330/.430 with a 102 wRC+ in 73 games this season.

Lastly, lefty reliever Josh Edgin will undergo arthroscopic surgery to repair his left knee. He spent most of this season in Triple-A, but went 0-1 with a 3.65 ERA, 4.59 FIP and 1.541 WHIP in 37.0 Major League innings. There is no timetable for his return.
