David Wright will appear in his third rehab game in four days tonight for the St. Lucie Mets in a 6:35 p.m. game according to SNY.

Wright, 35, has played 10 innings in the field so far while going 0-for-4 with three strikeouts and a walk at the plate, with all of his games being played with St. Lucie so far.

The captain is trying to come back from spinal stenosis and various other back/neck injuries. If he were to return this year it would mark the first time he has taken the field for an MLB game since May 27, 2016.

Jay Bruce will also appear in that same game as the team’s first baseman as he works his way back from a hip injury that has kept him on the disabled list for almost two months.
