The Mets made a slew of moves today as they activated Todd Frazier off the IL, Recalled Luis Guillorme, optioned Paul Sewald to Triple-A and placed Justin Wilson on the IL with elbow soreness. In addition, Robinson Cano (hand) and Amed Rosario (flu) are out of the lineup Monday against the Phillies.

With the activation of Todd Frazier (oblique) off the IL earlier today, we had been awaiting the corresponding roster move and now we know why.

Frazier has hit .238/.360/.333 for the Syracuse Mets so far this season, and is in the lineup and rejoining the Mets today for their series against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Guillorme has been bounced back and forth between the Mets and the Syracuse team for the 2019 season so far hitting .111/.200/.111 for the Mets in nine at bats and .167/.167/.167 for the AAA team in six at bats.

Justin Wilson has been struck with elbow soreness and will be sent to the 10-Day IL, but his MRI came back clean. Wilson has appeared in nine games so far this year. With only 8.1 IP, he has a 3.24 ERA with eight strikeouts allowing only four runs in 2019.

Paul Sewals has also been sent down to AAA Syracuse. Since joining the Mets on April 14, he has appeared in three games and has a 3.60 ERA in five innings pitched with one strikeout and two earned runs.

After being hit on the hand by Andrew Miller April 21 Robinson Cano will take the day off April 22 to recover from said occurrence. He came out of the game yesterday after being hit on the hand and the team does not feel he is well enough to start today.

The Mets lineup for tonight will include: Luis Guillorme at shortstop in place of Rosario (illness), Todd Frazier at third base, and Jeff McNeil will start at second base in place of Cano (hand).
