Mets pitcher Seth Lugo and Team Puerto Rico host Marcus Stroman and Team USA tonight in the Championship game of the World Baseball Classic. The two teams had already faced each other in the tournament with Puerto Rico beating them 5-4 on the back of Seth Lugo.

This is Team USA’s first ever appearance in the Finals, while Puerto Rico was the 2013 runner-up after losing to the Dominican Republic. While Puerto Rico has yet to lose a game in the classic, the USA team has much bigger names on their roster. It should be a phenomenal game and very fun to watch, especially with Mets’ Seth Lugo on the hill.

Lugo has been phenomenal in this year’s World Baseball Classic for Puerto Rico, going 2-0 in two starts, pitching to a 2.45 ERA and 0.64 WHIP in 11 innings. For Team USA, Blue Jays’ Marcus Stroman has gone 0-1 with a 3.86 ERA in two starts. He’s struck out six batters in 9.1 innings.
