Here is a video created by the singer Maxine Linehan who is a rising star on the New York cabaret scene and her songwriter husband Andrew Koss.
Andrew is a big Mets fan, while his wife Maxine roots for the Red Sox, but she is all-in and hoping for the Mets to win the Series.
Maxine sang the original “Danny Boy” in her recent cabaret show Beautiful Songs. She was gracious enough to have us post her new rendition of Danny Boy dedicated to Mets second baseman Daniel Murphy.
Maxine will be performing a Petula Clark Tribute show in a special series by MMO contributor Stephen Hanks, “New York Cabaret’s Greatest Hits” at the Metropolitan Room in Chelsea on Nov 3 at 7:00 PM.
