This afternoon Brodie Van Wagenen sat in a call with SNY to give some player updates. As it gets closer to the start of the delayed season, there should be more updates to come but here is what is known for now.

Noah Syndergaard, as previously reported, was put on the 45-day Injured List. Van Wagenen has now revealed that Syndergaard is doing well and is currently rehabbing with his trainers in Florida.

Van Wagenen also gave an update on Yoenis Cespedes stating that he “should be closer to being game ready than when we saw him last in March.”

While this is not saying much, I think most fans will take what they can get right now as Cespedes has given radio silence throughout the duration of both of his injuries.

Moving on to Jed Lowrie, who has had a total of seven at-bats as a Met, and is currently still trying to work his way out of a leg brace. He is currently hoping to “see some more advanced action.”

Lastly, Michael Conforto currently has no restrictions and should be good to go.
