The New York Mets have a few individuals who are thriving for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies in Double-A. Tyler Stuart was named the Eastern League Pitcher of the Week on Monday after his sensational performance against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Double-A affiliate for the Toronto Blue Jays) on Wednesday. The right-hander threw six scoreless innings with six strikeouts while only allowing two hitters to reach base.

Stuart is having a remarkable season, split between High-A Brooklyn and Double-A Binghamton. After posting a 4-0 record with a 1.55 ERA in 75 2/3 innings for Brooklyn, the 23-year-old is 3-2 with a 3.60 ERA through seven starts in Binghamton. Stuart leads all qualified starting pitchers in MiLB with a 2.20 ERA this season.
