Pitcher Kodai Senga, outfielder Brandon Nimmo and closer Edwin Diaz all made the list of MLB Network’s “Top 100 Players Right Now.” The network has released the players ranked 61-100 so far. It will countdown the next 20 in an 8 p.m. ET broadcast on Tuesday and unveil the final top 10 on February 21.

Senga, a 2023 All-Star, went 12-7 with a 2.98 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 3.63 FIP while finishing second for Rookie of the Year. He came in at No. 63 in his debut on the list.  Right ahead of Senga on the list was Justin Verlander at No. 62 and Yoshinobu Yamamoto at No. 61.

Nimmo was ranked no. 70, dropping from No. 54 last season, after hitting .274/.363/.466 in 2023 with 24 homers, 30 doubles and six triples. Díaz was No. 80, dropping 29 spots from last season after missing it due to injury.

The Mets had eight players on the list a year ago: Justin Verlander (14), Max Scherzer (15), Francisco Lindor (21), Pete Alonso (31), Jeff McNeil (45), Díaz (51), Nimmo (54) and Starling Marte (61). Shohei Ohtani was first on the list last year.
