Mets fan, episode seven is here!

This week Mike and I are joined by Mets beat reporter Tim Healey (@timbhealey) of Newsday to talk all things rumored in Flushing.

Tim fills us in on the latest from the President of Baseball Operations search and why the Amazin’s are having such a hard time finding a leader for the franchise.

The Mets do also need a new manager, should they make former St. Louis skipper Mike Shildt their top target? We asked Tim his thoughts on that and more as the quest for stability in Flushing continues.

With a work stoppage looming on December 2nd, Tim breaks that down as well as what we should expect from this year’s hot stove, and how it could effect things in Queens.

Jacob deGrom was the Mets lone Silver Slugger finalist for 2021, we have some fun with that and get Tim’s thoughts on the mighty struggles of the Mets offense from this year.

Finally, Tim shares his experiences of covering the team during the 2020 Pandemic season, the challenges that followed, and what has changed covering sports due to Covid.

Tune in next week for more on the latest in Metsland, but until then don’t forget to get Metsmerized!
