I’m joined by Jay Jaffe of Sports Illustrated. Jay invented the metric “JAWS” to evaluate MLB Hall of Fame worthiness and will give his virtual ballot for the 2018 class. Hear Jay talk about his reasons behind his ballot, the most egregious snubs in Hall of Fame history and his book “The Cooperstown Casebook.”

The 2018 Baseball Hall of Fame class will be announced Wednesday, and several players are expected to join Alan Trammell and Jack Morris – elected in December via the Modern Baseball Era ballot.

I will also talk a little Mets baseball by telling you why trading Brandon Nimmo for Andrew McCutchen would have been a bad idea.
