Today I wrap up opening weekend by featuring former Mets closer Skip Lockwood who talks about his book “Insight Pitch: My Life as a Major League Closer.”
Skip remembers the late former teammates Ed Charles and Rusty Staub, talks about his transition as a starting pitcher to a reliever, and being part of the subject of the book “Ball Four” as a member of the Seattle Pilots.
I also talk about opening weekend and my early observations of the 2018 club. I reiterate the importance of Matt Harvey’s first start and the upcoming series with the Nationals in DC.
