Mets Reinstate Starling Marte, Option Mark Vientos to Triple-A

The New York Mets on Tuesday announced that they have reinstated outfielder Starling Marte from the bereavement list and optioned infielder Mark Vientos to Triplle-A Syracuse. Vientos played in three games while he was called up. He was 3-for-7 with a home run, two RBIs, and a run scored, batting .429/.429/.857, with a 1.286 OPS. Per Jacob Resnick of SNY, the New York Mets have signed left-handed pitcher Nate Fisher to a minor league contract. Fisher was an undrafted free agent in 2019 who was cut by the Mariners soon after that.
