Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard threw a 25-pitch bullpen session today and is expected to toss one inning for the Gulf Coast League Mets on Saturday, the team announced.

Syndergaard, 25, has been sidelined since the beginning of the season with a partial tear of his right lat muscle.

In five starts in 2017, the righty has a 1-2 record with a 3.29 ERA.

Matt Harvey also threw a bullpen session today and is slated to start Saturday in Houston against the Astros.

Additionally, David Wright and T.J. Rivera will be examined later this week and Michael Conforto received a second opinion on his shoulder.

We will keep you up to date on the status of Wright, Rivera and Conforto when more information becomes available.
