Mike Puma of the New York Post reports that Anthony Swarzak is scheduled to make a rehab appearance for the Brooklyn Cyclones tomorrow.

Anthony Swarzak has been on the 10-day disabled list since August 5 (retroactive to August 4) with right shoulder inflammation.

Swarzak, 32, has been largely disappointing this season as he has been on the DL three times this season, the first year of a two-year, $14 million contract he signed this past offseason.

When healthy, he hasn’t been particularly good either, as he is 0-2 with a 6.00 ERA, 1.62 WHIP, and 24 strikeouts in 22 appearances (21 innings). He also has allowed five home runs and walked 10 batters.

However, in his last four innings before going down with the injury, Swarzak had gone 4 1/3 innings without allowing a run while striking out six in the process.
