Steve Cohen Provides Updates on Seaver Statue, Upcoming Press Conference

Though not yet verified on Twitter (for whatever reason), Mets owner Steve Cohen continues to interact with fans across the platform.

On Sunday, Cohen had some helpful updates for those same fans.

First, Cohen – in response to a question on the status of Tom Seaver‘s statue, expected to be displayed outside of Citi Field – tweeted that he expects said statue to be ready and unveiled at the start of the season.

Then, responding to a separate question pertaining to his introductory press conference – slated to be held on Tuesday – Cohen indicated a 12:30 start time for said conference, and also noted that newly-appointed team president Sandy Alderson will join him there as well.
