So You Think You Know The Mets: WHIP It Good!

With apologies to Eighties one-hit-wonder Devo, in this edition of So You Think You Know The Mets, we’re focusing on a pitching metric that has stood the test of time… WHIP.

I think you could safely say that WHIP  – Walks and Hits per Innings Pitched – has surpassed ERA as the best and most popular way to measure a pitcher’s performative value. I know it’s my favorite.

This week, we want you to name the Top 20 Mets in WHIP and that includes relievers as well as starting pitchers.

There’s some surprising names on this quiz and only the best will name at least 15 of them.
