Ask any Mets fan who tossed the only no-hitter in franchise history, and almost to a person they’ll tell you it was Johan Santana. And even though only 27,069 fans were in attendance during that incredible and magical summer night, almost all of them will also tell you they were there!
The Mets have had their share of near misses before and after, and in fact 19 different pitchers have tossed a complete game one-hitter for the New York Mets over the years, and that’s the subject of this month’s quiz.
