Seven days until Opening Day – count them – seven!
Almost every MLB Predictions piece I’ve seen thus far has our New York Mets winning the NL East – and yes I’m fully aware that the Atlanta Braves are nipping on our heels. As my old friend Victor would say, “We can take ’em!”
It feels like an eternity since the 2015 season when the Mets last won the division with a 90-72 record. The Mets made it all the way to the World Series that year but lost to the Kansas City Royals.
That was an exciting season filled with many highs and lows that had many fans raiding their liquor cabinets.
Thinking back, we had a pretty solid bunch in ’15 and with a new season on the horizon, how many players can you name from that year’s Opening Day Roster?
