MLB Network finished their annual countdown of the Top 100 players right now on Thursday night. Unsurprisingly, Mike Trout and Mookie Betts were No. 1 and No. 2 on the list respectively.

The first of six Mets player on the list was starter Jacob deGrom at No. 10. DeGrom was the second pitcher on the list after Nationals starter Max Scherzer at No. 5.

Newly acquired closer Edwin Diaz is the next Met on the list all the way down to No. 52. Diaz was the second ranked reliever on the list right behind Josh Hader whom came in at No. 51.

The Mets then have a cluster of players with second baseman Robinson Cano at No. 54, outfielder Brandon Nimmo next at No. 55, and outfielder Michael Conforto coming in at No. 60.

Lastly for the Mets, starter Noah Syndergaard comes in at No. 79 right after Nationals starter Patrick Corbin.

The Nationals led the National League East with seven players on the list, followed by the Phillies with five, the Braves with four, and the Marlins were shutout.
