Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports that the Mets still have Carlos Beltran, Derek Shelton, Tim Bogar, Pat Murphy, and Eduardo Perez in the mix to become their next manager.

Heyman also notes that the decision is expected to be made before the GM meetings start on November 11.

The team is still conducting it’s third round of interviews, with newly minted World Series champion Bogar expected to meet with Fred Wilpon and the group on Saturday.

Former Yankees manager Joe Girardi had been one of the candidates that received a second interview with the Mets, though he was hired by the Phillies to be their next manager last week.
