The New York Mets took the rubber game of the series in a 6-3 win over the Miami Marlins.

Pitching

Seth Lugo started the game and was solid until the sixth inning. He gave up a run in the fourth on a Giancarlo Stanton. He gave up a RBI Single to Martin Prado and had a wild pitch. He eventually got through the inning.

His final line was: 6 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 2 ER, BB, 4 K

Lugo has now won six straight road starts, tying a Mets franchise record with Tom Seaver and Jerry Koosman.

Jerry Blevins, Josh Edgin, and Addison Reed each threw a scoreless inning out of the pen.

Reed picked up his 12th save of the season and struck out two in the ninth inning.
