The New York Mets announced their pitching probables for their first two spring training games and Tuesday’s intrasquad game.
Tuesday
Sean Gilmartin and Robert Gsellman will start and oppose each other in Tuesday’s intrasquad game with Logan Verrett, Zack Thornton, Akeel Morris, Josh Smoker, Paul Sewald, Chase Bradford, Duane Below and Seth Lugo also slated to pitch in that contest.
Thursday
Rafael Montero, Gabriel Ynoa and Jeff Walters will pitch in New York’s Grapefruit League opener against the Washington Nationals at Space Coast Stadium in Viera, Florida. First pitch at 1:05 PM and will be broadcast on WOR radio.
Friday
Logan Verrett, Buddy Carlyle and Zack Thornton will pitch against the Miami Marlins at Tradition Field in Port St. Lucie. First pitch is scheduled for 1:10 PM and will be broadcast on WOR radio and SNY television.
