Last night at the BBWAA dinner in New York City, R.A. Dickey accepted the “You’ve Gotta Have Heart” award. New manager Terry Collins presented Dickey with the award.
R.A. Dickey was the perfect choice for this award. I say this because of the fact that in May when he got called up, no one expected much in the way of performance, but a couple of months and 10 wins later…
Dickey is now being counted on to be one of the big contributers to the rotation this year for the Amazin’s.
