Happy New Year, Mets fans! After a short break we are kicking off 2021 with the year’s first new Pleasant Good Evening! The free agent market is still moving slowly but things should pick up soon. We talk about how badly we want George Springer on the Mets and the talk about the Japanese right-hander Tomoyuki Sugano, who has to with a team before January 7th. We would like him to be on the Mets too.
Then, we talk about the two big trades the Padres made for Blake Snell and Yu Darvish. Jack is mad because he thinks the Mets could have gotten involved for one of those pitchers.
