The New York Mets announced that their game on Thursday with the Philadelphia Phillies at Citi Field has been postponed due to rain. The game will now be part of a single admission doubleheader on June 25.

The first game of the doubleheader will begin at 4:10 p.m. and the second game will start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

Mets ace Jacob deGrom is now slated to start the series against the Rockies on Friday at Coors Field in a game 8:40 p.m. start. He will be followed by Joey Lucchesi on Saturday and Marcus Stroman on Sunday to conclude the three-game series.

The Mets have now played only seven of their 13 scheduled games to begin the 2021 season.
