According to Buster Olney of ESPN, the New York Mets are now open for business and willing to listen to offers for their pending free agents.

Olney specifically mentions Curtis Granderson, Addison Reed, Jay Bruce and Asdrubal Cabrera as players they are willing to deal. Grandy, Reed and Bruce are free agents after the season while Cabrera has a $8.5 million option for 2018.

Lucas Duda is another player that will certainly have value at the trade deadline and is a free agent after the season.

Second baseman Neil Walker is another pending free agent however his partially torn hamstring likely puts him out of action through the trading deadline.

Jerry Blevins will definitely be of interest to competing teams as one of the better lefty relievers in the game, but the Mets have a $7 million option on him for 2018.

The Mets are now 31-41 putting them 12 games out of first place in the NL East and 14.5 games out of a Wild Card spot.
