On Wednesday, the Mets lost 3-2 on a walk off home run against the Miami Marlins (game recap). However, they did receive three no-hit, scoreless innings from starting pitcher Joey Lucchesi, who is competing for the No. 5 spot in the rotation.

The Mets will be back at it again Thursday afternoon at 1:10 pm EST as Marcus Stroman will take the bump against left-hander Jon Lester and the Washington Nationals.
