1986: In Game 4 of the NLCS, the Mets fell 3-1 to the Houston Astros.
1999: The Mets were defeated 4-2 by the Braves in Game 1 of the NLCS. The Mets were limited to one run over seven innings by Greg Maddux.
2000: In Game 2 of the NLCS, the Mets beat the Cardinals by a score of 6-5. Al Leiter delivered a quality start and Mike Piazza, Todd Zeile, Edgardo Alfonzo, Benny Agbayani and Jay Payton all drove in runs.
