Good Morning Mets Fans!!

Today, Steven Matz(4-4, 3.97 ERA) will toe the rubber against Jon Gray (5-4, 4.11 ERA) and the Rockies. Matz has greatly struggled in the first inning this season (10.80 ERA) and thrived in the other frames (2.51 ERA) so it’ll be interesting to note if he can come out of the initial frame unscathed tonight. The game can be viewed on FOX and WCBS 880.

Last night, Jacob deGrom pitched so of course, the Mets’ offense didn’t offer any support. After throwing six innings of two-run ball, deGrom was pulled in favor of Drew Gagnon, who incited a bases-clearing incident by drilling Ian Desmond in the back.
